So apparently several bands of Amish have been attacking other Amish and cutting off their beards. I assume they are only cutting off the men's beards, but who knows? The attacks are over religious differences. Sadly, no one was able to call 9-1-1. ;)

Three Arrested in Amish Outcast Attacks - Orlando Sentinel

STEUBENVILLE, Ohio—

There are new developments in the attacks on the Amish in Ohio.

Three arrests have been made, but that may just be a small step towards calming a community's fears.

In Middlefield, Amish there are shaken and well aware of the other Amish reportedly attacking their own, over religious

differences.

A woman told Fox 8 News about the attack on her friend's family. "(The suspects) were at my friend's house in Carrollton, Ohio. They started on his beard, but then he yelled for his boys to get the cops," the woman said.
